...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT SATURDAY AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR ZAPATA, JIM HOGG, AND STARR COUNTIES... .Dry fuels, gusty winds, and a drastic decrease in relative humidity will provide a favorable environment for wildfires to spread. The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect Saturday afternoon. * AFFECTED AREA...Zapata, Jim Hogg, and Starr. * WIND...Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 14 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will catch and spread rapidly.
