A fast moving area of light snow is expected to move east across Ohio tonight into early Friday morning with snowfall totals around 1 to 2 inches, mainly along and south of the US-30 corridor. If driving tonight, use caution when encountering snow covered roads.

Winds gusting as high as 40 to 50 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northern New York and portions of northern Vermont. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Strong winds may also cause areas of blowing snow and reduce visibilities farther. Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
