S of Oregon Inlet NC to Cape Hatteras NC out to 20 nm... * Until 300 AM EDT. * At 156 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near Pamlico Sound, moving east at 20 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

At 137 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of Clintonville, or 13 miles northeast of Waupaca, moving east at 25 mph. Another storm was located to the north of Big Falls. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Waupaca and northwestern Outagamie Counties, including the following locations... Fitzgerald Corners, Buckbee, Sugar Bush, Bear Creek, Symco, Marion, Big Falls, and Manawa.
