Tree limbs could snap resulting in a few power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* AFFECTED AREA...Southern Gila County/Tonto National Forest Foothills. * TIMING...In effect until 8 pm MST Saturday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * IMPACTS...Fuels are very dry and fire danger is very high. These conditions combined with low relative humidity and strong winds will lead to widespread hazardous fire weather conditions.

* WHAT...Temperatures up to around 80 expected. * WHERE...Klukwan and the Haines Highway. * WHEN...Until 7 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot temperatures for this region may experience heat related illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High temperatures near Klukwan and along higher elevations of the Haines highway will reach values up to around 80 degrees F during the afternoon hours Saturday. The city of Haines will not get as warm due to sea breezes, but temperatures into the middle 70s are still expected.
