Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Franklin, Johnson and Logan Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until early Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 355.5 feet, the river remains in its banks, but access to Okane Island may be cut off. At 357.0 feet, flooding affects agricultural use lands along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County. Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and livestock should be moved to higher ground.

* WHAT...Temperatures up to 80 expected. * WHERE...Haines Borough and Klukwan. * WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM AKDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot temperatures for this region may experience heat related illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High temperatures near Klukwan and along higher elevations of the Haines highway will reach values up to around 80 degrees F during the afternoon hours through Sunday. The city of Haines will not get as warm due to sea breezes, but temperatures into the lower to middle 70s are still expected.
