In Texas, Lower Jefferson County. * WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 3 AM CST Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tide levels are anticipated to reach between 1.5 and 2 feet above MHHW at high tide tonight around midnight.

* WHAT...A strong, southward-flowing longshore current is forecast to develop at all central Florida Atlantic beaches today, along with a moderate risk for dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Saint Lucie, Coastal Martin, and Coastal Brevard Counties. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...The southward-flowing current could pull swimmers into deeper water, making them more susceptible to dangerous rip currents. This will also generate strong rip currents near piers, jetties, and reefs.

Ice accumulations of around one quarter of an inch. * WHERE...Western Kenai Peninsula. * WHEN...Until 3 AM AKST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the afternoon commute Monday and the early morning commute Tuesday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain has been reported across much of the area, leading to numerous reports of slick conditions on untreated roads and other surfaces. Although temperatures are rising to above freezing in many locations, ice may continue to accrue as ground and surface temperatures remain below freezing for an extended period.

Travel will be difficult. Use caution if traveling in a high profile vehicle. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Easterly to east-southeasterly winds pick this afternoon, with the highest winds occurring this evening. Winds begin to slowly diminish during the overnight hours as they become more southerly into Tuesday.

Total ice accumulations of a light glaze. * WHERE...Western Kenai Peninsula. * WHEN...From 9 AM Monday to 3 AM AKST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A series of storms will bring considerably warmer weather and a chance of precipitation to the area today through Tuesday. Rain is most likely to spread into the western Kenai Peninsula from Monday afternoon through Monday night. While temperatures may rise above freezing, surface temperatures are likely to remain below freezing due to recent cold weather.
