* WHAT...Increased threat of sneaker waves expected. * WHERE...Coastal Del Norte, Northern Humboldt Coast, Southwestern Humboldt and Mendocino Coast Counties. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. . * IMPACTS...Large, unexpected waves can sweep across the beach without warning, sweeping people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and beaches. These sneaker waves can also move large objects such as logs, crushing anyone caught underneath.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet at Kosrae, and 9 to 12 feet at Majuro. * WHERE...East facing reefs of Kosrae and Majuro. * WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Friday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor wave run-up or splash up is possible, especially around high tide. Surf still remains elevated along the north facing reefs, but currently below hazardous levels. Another pulse of northerly swell later this week may cause surf to become hazardous along north facing reefs.

* WHAT...East winds 20 to 25 kt and seas 7 to 11 feet. * WHERE...Pohnpei, Kosrae, and Majuro Coastal Waters. * WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Friday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous for small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds may subside below 22 kt at times, but overall wind conditions and elevated easterly swell will keep seas around 10 feet through at least Friday. Also, seas will be choppy at some locations while long-period north swell continues across the region.
