Ice accumulations of up to one quarter of an inch. * WHERE...Susitna Valley. * WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the afternoon commute Monday and the early morning commute Tuesday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain has been reported across much of the area, leading to numerous reports of slick conditions on untreated roads and other surfaces. Although temperatures are rising to above freezing in many locations, ice may continue to accrue as ground and surface temperatures remain below freezing for an extended period.

Ice accumulations of up to one quarter of an inch. * WHERE...Susitna Valley. * WHEN...From noon Monday to 3 PM AKST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A series of storms will bring considerably warmer weather and a chance of precipitation to the area today through Tuesday. Rain is most likely to spread into the Susitna Valley from Monday afternoon through early Tuesday. While temperatures may rise above freezing, surface temperatures are likely to remain below freezing due to recent cold weather.

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 8 inches and ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Visibilities may reduce to under a quarter of a mile at times due to blowing snow. * WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Kansas. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening.
