* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Significant accumulations possible in the most persistent lake snows. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph, resulting in blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...From Monday afternoon through late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...The potential exists for a significant long duration lake effect snow event. There is considerable uncertainty in exact band placement and amounts, but multiple periods of heavy snow are possible. Travel could be very difficult with very poor visibility and deep snow cover on roads.

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...Coastal Taylor and Coastal Dixie Counties. * WHEN...From 4 PM EST today until 4 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Water levels will rise to 2 feet above normally dry ground along the immediate coast around the time of high tide tonight. At these levels water will overtop seawalls in Suwannee and Horseshoe Beach. Flooding of boat ramps and beach access roads from Steinhatchee northward to Keaton Beach are expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The time of high tide at Steinhatchee is at 1024 pm EST tonight.

Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, and isolated amounts up to 3 inches possible in southern Nelson county. * WHERE...Albemarle and Nelson Counties, and Central Virginia Blue Ridge. * WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light to moderate snow will overspread the area this evening, then quickly come to an end early Saturday morning.
