Lake effect snow will affect areas along the southeastern shores of Lake of the Woods toward Baudette and Koochiching County border this evening and overnight. Snow will fall in relatively narrow bands, quickly reducing visibility at times. Most likely snowfall accumulation will range from 2 to 4 inches through tonight, but could be locally higher within narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Travel could be difficult. Reduce your speed, turn on your headlights. Don't slam on brakes!
