Periods of heavy snow will continue for Whittier, Portage and eastern Turnagain Arm with several additional inches of snow accumulation. Precipitation may stay all snow at higher elevations, including the top of Turnagain Pass. If it does, expect a total of 5 to 10 inches of snow for the pass. Any snow on area roads will be slushy through the afternoon and evening, with water likely ponding on roads due to the combination of rain and snow melt. Slow down and use caution when driving.
