For the Emory River...including Oakdale TN...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Emory River at Oakdale TN. * WHEN...Until late this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs below Riverview Road. No buildings or roads are threatened. At 18.0 feet, Flooding begins of the rural Clifty Creek Road and bridge over Clifty Creek that immediately joins the Emory River there. At 27.0 feet, Flooding starts on Riverview Road.

With strong winds continuing to gust as high as 60 mph across St. Lawrence Island and temperatures in the single digits, ice accumulations from freezing spray could occur. Residents are encouraged to pull boats and other exposed objects inland. There is a possibility that power lines could become ice coated, resulting in power outages. Winds will gradually fall through the day today.
