There is some chance that the Small Craft Advisory may be extended, if conditions warrant.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 ft. * WHERE...East facing reefs of Kosrae. * WHEN...Until 5 PM ChST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Large trade-wind swell will maintain hazardous surf through at least this afternoon. Recent satellite data show combined seas have been slow to fall remaining between 6 to 9 feet. The high surf advisory may need to be extended if seas continue to remain elevated.
