Especially along routes close to the Great Salt Lake including I-80 between Salt Lake City and Grantsville, and routes west of I-15 including the Legacy Highway and the West Davis Corridor. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Friday. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. When driving into the fog bank, expect rapidly deteriorating conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Higher elevation locations, including benches, mainly along and east of I-15, as well as the west Salt Lake Valley bench are largely expected

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold temperatures as low as 18 degrees expected. A ridge of high pressure will lead to a strong inversion and stagnant air conditions near the surface that will continue to trap pollutants. This could worsen air quality over time. * WHERE...For the Cold Weather Advisory, the southern end of the Rogue Valley including Ashland as well as the outskirts of Phoenix and Talent; the Shady Cove area; areas east of Eagle Point and White City on Highway 140; and portions of the Applegate Valley including the outskirts of Ruch, Applegate, and Jacksonville Hill.

Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A few of the typically colder locations could fall to freezing.
