This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall amounts The snow is forecast to have lower snow to liquid ratios. These lower snowfall ratios could produce a more wet and heavy snow load. The heaviest snowfall amounts are expected along the high terrain along the North Shore with lesser amounts inland.

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and seas 8 to 13 feet. * WHERE...Sandy Hook NJ to Montauk Point NY out 20 nm, Long Island Sound East of the Mouth of the Connecticut River, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay. * WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A few isolated gusts to storm force may occur out on the eastern most ocean waters this afternoon.
