Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: After several days of mostly dry conditions, an active weather pattern will return across the Panhandle beginning later this afternoon as scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of an approaching cold front (40-70% chance of rain). Showers and thunderstorms that develop this afternoon may be locally strong to severe  and produce lightning, gusty winds and locally heavy downpours. Mostly dry conditions will also continue throughout the Peninsula, with a chance for brief showers late in the day along the eastern Peninsula towards the I-95

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary:   Isolated showers will continue through the Peninsula this afternoon along and ahead of a cold front as it sinks through the state (10-20% chance of rain). Near-zero rain chances can be expected elsewhere across Florida as a cool and dry high pressure airmass builds in behind the cold front.
