At 704 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Black Hawk to near Lettsworth to near Krotz Springs. Movement was east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Wakefield, Gloster, Spillman, Centreville, Morganza, Crosby, Batchelor, Wilson, Woodville, Jackson, Clinton, Fordoche, Norwood, Lettsworth, Fort Adams, Felps, St. Francisville, Dolorosa, New Roads, and Slaughter.

* WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as -15 to -25 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central, east central, and south central Nebraska. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening until 9 AM CST Friday. * IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as -25 could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest air temperatures will occur in river valleys, while the strongest winds will be on hills and bluffs. This will lead to very cold wind chills across the entire advisory area.
