A band of heavy lake effect snow is moving onshore of Alger county, between Munising and Grand Marais. Heavy snowfall rates and accumulating snow may result in rapid drops in visibility and slick road conditions for the morning commute. The heaviest snow is expected along and north of M-28. Slow down and use caution while driving.
