A combination of light snow, strong winds, and rapidly falling temperatures could create slippery travel conditions. Any standing water will have a tendency to freeze on untreated roads and walkways, with some snow accumulation (locally 1 to 2 inches) possible as well. Additionally, strong gusty winds could cause areas of blowing snow, particularly in more open, exposed areas, which would lower visibilities. Motorists should exercise caution this evening, give themselves extra time to reach their destinations, and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
