Snow is expected in portions of northern Iowa this morning reducing visibilities to a mile or less at times. There may be brief periods when visibilities dip below one quarter of a mile in the heaviest snow. Light accumulations are expected, generally an inch or less by late morning. As the snow comes to an end from west to east during the morning, there may also be a brief period of freezing drizzle.
