* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 26 below expected. * WHERE...Portions of southwest and west central Iowa and east central, northeast, and southeast Nebraska. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chill values this cold can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots and seas 7 to 10 feet. * WHERE...Coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel out 20 NM, Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to 60 NM. * WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Strong to very strong winds and/or increased seas will result in hazardous marine conditions especially for inexperienced mariners with smaller vessels.

* WHAT...Life-threatening rip currents due to breaking waves between 6 to 8 feet. * WHERE...Beaches of St Croix. * WHEN...from Tuesday evening through at least Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Rip currents that can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water where it becomes difficult to return to safety.
