* WHAT...Life-threatening rip currents due to breaking waves up to 6 feet. * WHERE...Beaches of northern Puerto Rico, from Aguadilla to Fajardo. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Rip currents that can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water where it becomes difficult to return to safety.

* WHAT...Seas up to 7 feet. * WHERE...Waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Port Aransas to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to 60 NM. * WHEN...Until midnight CST tonight. * IMPACTS...Strong to very strong winds and/or increased seas will result in hazardous marine conditions especially for inexperienced mariners with smaller vessels.

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet are expected through the holiday weekend for parts of the area. Locally higher amounts are possible, especially near Sault Ste. Marie. * WHERE...Central Chippewa and Western Chippewa Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Sunday. * IMPACTS...High snowfall accumulations on roads and quick drops in visibility will lead to dangerous travel conditions at times through the holiday weekend. Gusty winds may lead to blowing snow, especially across exposed areas.
