This band of snow looks to remain progressive, which should limit its duration at any given location across the far northeastern Illinois shore. Nevertheless, some light accumulations and slick travel may result near the lake into early Sunday morning. The lake effect band is expected to become focused across northwestern Indiana Sunday morning, before shifting east of the area Sunday afternoon.
