* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 4 to 7 feet with dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Ventura County Beaches. * WHEN...From 6 AM Saturday to noon PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY OVER MUCH OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES... .The previous Red Flag Warning was cancelled a little early as winds continue to rapidly weaken from the previous event. The next enhancement of winds is on track to start developing during the day on Saturday, then peak overnight Saturday into Sunday. With continued very dry conditions, the is a high risk for Red Flag Warnings. As a result, Fire Weather Watches have been issued which will likely be upgraded to Red Flag Warnings
