At 915 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Muldoon to Cistern to 8 miles west of Waelder to near Gonzales to 8 miles north of Smiley to near Pandora. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Patchy dense fog is developing now into portions of the I-35 corridor. Local visibilities are being reduced to 1/4 to 1/2 mile across some spots. We'll monitor for a possible extension of a Dense Fog Advisory into the area. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights in fog, and leave plenty of distance between you and other vehicles. Visibilities are forecast to improve around 9 AM.
