* WHAT...Elevated surf of 4 to 6 ft, with sets to 7 ft expected. * WHERE...Orange County Beaches. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Strong rip currents will create hazardous swimming conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A 2 to 3 ft swell from 190 to 200 degrees with a 16 to 18 second period will prevail. Highest surf will occur on south/southwest facing beaches.

Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats nearshore.
