LAEDLH The following message is transmitted at the request of the Ashland and Bayfield County Emergency Communications Center. This is an urgent message from the Ashland and Bayfield County Emergency Communications Center. U.S. Highway 2 and State Highway 13 North is declared impassable and closed on the Chequamegon Bayfront between State Highway 112 in the City of Ashland and State Highway 13 North in the Town of Eileen due to extreme weather conditions. Motorists must use the designated State Highway 137 alternate route. Tune to local radio and television stations for further details.

To all Pilots flying in the area of the Los Altos Rod and Gun Club: The Los Altos Rod and Gun Club is located in Los Gatos, Ca. in the Santa Cruz Mountains (see location below) at an elevation of approximately 2800 MSL. Be aware of the hazards a live firing range presents to aircraft. Flight within 500 feet of the club presents potential small arms hazards to the aircraft flying over the gun club. Expansion of R2206 Restricted Area
R2206 LTA The National Defense Authorization Act directed the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to deploy a tracking and discrimination sensor to support national security against emerging threats. Clear Space Force Station (CSFS) was selected as the preferred site for the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) and the United States Air Force was designated as the lead service. After reviewing the original R2206 Restricted area, it was determined a larger area would be needed to protect aircraft and personnel from encountering excessive interference from LRDR transmissions.
