Special Weather Statement issued February 23 at 9:19PM CST by NWS Green Bay WI
A brief period of light rain or freezing rain is expected across far northern Wisconsin between 11 pm and 5 am. While air temperatures may remain slightly above freezing in some areas, roads, bridges and sidewalks are likely to drop below freezing. Thus, any rain that develops may freeze on untreated surfaces, leading to locally icy conditions overnight. Those with travel plans across far northern Wisconsin tonight should be prepared for icy spots and locally hazardous travel conditions on untreated roads. Pedestrians should also use caution, as sidewalks, driveways and parking lots may become slick. The slippery conditions may linger
