LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 644 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was near Van Etten, or 12 miles southeast of Odessa moving northeast at 40 MPH. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... Danby, Caroline, Erin, Dryden, Berkshire, Richford, Newark Valley, Candor, Spencer, and Cayuta. SAFETY INFO... Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this band of heavy snow. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to accidents.
