Satellite imagery, surface observations, and live webcams indicate areas of fog are developing over coastal and island portions of Deep South Texas. Fog is expected to reduce visibility to between 1 and 3 miles. Areas of dense fog may reduce visibility to less than 1 mile. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights, and avoid following other vehicles too closely while driving in any fog through the next few hours. If the fog becomes more widespread and dense, with visibilities of 1/2 of a mile or less, a Dense Fog Advisory may need to be issued.
