Recent mild temperatures and rainfall has allowed for all waterways to rise today and it has forced some river ice to lift and move downstream. As of 645 pm...there were NO reports of any on-going flooding. However, we have received some recent reports of Ice Jams along the AuSable river between Keene and Upper Jay as well as the Winooski river between Moretown and Waterbury. At this time, no flooding was occurring in these areas. We're sure there are other rivers across Vermont and northern New York that likely have ice moving with scattered Ice Jams but no flooding has

At 226 AM EST, radar indicated a line of gusty snow showers along a line extending from near Norfolk to De Peyster to 10 miles north of Cedar Point State Park. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds up to 25 mph, and visibility around a mile. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Low visibility may pose a hazard to motorists. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
