At 1132 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking clusters of gusty snow showers along a line extending from Park Forest to near Joliet. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. These snow showers will result in sharply varying visibilities down to one half mile or less and quick snow accumulations of a quarter to locally one half inch resulting in patchy slick travel conditions. HAZARD...Brief bursts of heavy snow. Wind gusts up to 40 mph leading to sharply varying visibilities down to one half mile or less. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
