Temperatures across the Coastal Bend and Islands are expected to drop to around 32 degrees briefly overnight and Friday morning. Frost and freeze conditions could kill sensitive vegetation, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Winds chills values overnight may also dip below 25 at times. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
