Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches, locally up to 12 inches near Boulder Mountain and in the Tushar Range. * WHERE...Southern Mountains. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT Friday Night. * IMPACTS...Winter driving conditions are possible on high mountain routes including SR-12 near Boulder Mountain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong cold front will cross the area Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening bringing a period of heavy snow. Snow will become more showery late Thursday night, with another round of moderate snow expected Friday morning into Friday night, especially across eastern portions of the area.

At 329 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles north of Paragonah to Beaver Dam. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Above 6000 feet elevation, moderate snow may lead to winter driving conditions. Locations impacted include... Minersville, Parowan, Modena, Adamsville, Newcastle, Summit, Enoch, Paragonah, Enterprise, Beaver, Lund, Beaver Dam, and Cedar City. This includes the following highways...
