Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Kansas. * WHEN...Until 5 PM MST /6 PM CST/ Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. A strong cold front passing through eastern NC tonight will bring in cool dry air and gusty northwest winds up to 25-30 mph in its wake tomorrow afternoon. Combined with relative humidities around or slightly below 30%, conditions are conducive for the formation and spread of fires over a region that has received below average rainfall. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please refer to your local burn permitting authority on whether you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution and ensure fire suppression equipment is readily available.

Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes adjacent to the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
