Final Days to Register with FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers to Close Cape Girardeau, MO – Missourians in the counties of Barry, Butler, Carter, Howell, New Madrid, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, Stoddard and Texas who were impacted by the severe weather and flooding from May 19 – 27 have until Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, to apply with FEMA for assistance to support their disaster recovery. Disaster Recovery Center to Close in Lafourche Parish BATON ROUGE, La. –The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) serving Louisiana survivors of Hurricane Francine in Raceland will close permanently at 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1. The center (Lafourche Parish) is located at Lafourche Parish Emergency Operations Center, 4876 Hwy. 1, Raceland, LA 70394. Additional locations in St. Mary and Terrebonne parishes are open. Terrebonne Disaster Recovery Center to Close on Veteran’s Day BATON ROUGE, La. – The Disaster Recovery Center in Terrebonne Parish for those affected by Hurricane Francine will be closed Monday, Nov. 11 for Veteran’s Day The center will return to its normal hours of operation on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is located at: Terrebonne Parish Library 151 Library Dr. Houma, LA 70360 Residents in all nine parishes can visit the DRC to meet with representatives of FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration, along with other community partners. Disaster Recovery Centers to Close for Election Day Disaster Recovery Centers for the storms and flooding that took place July 11-13 and July 29-31 will be closed for Election Day, Tuesday,  Nov. 5.  These centers are located at the Newport Municipal Building (222 Main St) and at the Lyndon Public Safety Facility (316 Main St). Because the center at the Hinesburg Town Hall ( 10632 Route 116) will be used as a voting site, it will be closed Monday, Nov. 4 through Wednesday, Nov. 6. The DRCs at Newport and Lyndon will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Final Disaster Recovery Center to Close in Terrebonne Parish BATON ROUGE, La. –The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) serving Louisiana survivors of Hurricane Francine in Houma will close permanently at noon, Saturday, Nov. 16. The center (Terrebonne Parish) is located at: Terrebonne Parish Library 151 Library Dr. Houma, LA 70360 The center operates from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,Friday, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. After the center closes, individuals affected by Hurricane Francine in the nine designated parishes can still get help by: Logging into their account at DisasterAssistance.gov. Disaster Recovery Centers to Close on November 23 The Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) located at the Hinesburg Town Hall (on Route 10632) and the Lyndon Public Safety Facility (316 Main Street) are scheduled to permanently close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. Operating hours for the centers until then are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The centers were opened for residents affected by the storms and flooding that took place July 9-11 and July 29-31 and who wanted to speak to FEMA and other disaster recovery specialists in person.  Residents don’t need to visit the DRC to apply for FEMA assistance. Disaster Recovery Center in Southbury to Permanently Close Nov 19 Rocky Hill, CT – The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Southbury, Connecticut, opened to help those affected by the August 18-19, 2024 Severe Storm, Flooding, Landslides and Mudslides, will close permanently at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19.  DRC Location:  Southbury Town Hall501 Main Street, SouthSouthbury, CT 06488  The DRC is still open Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is November 19, 2024.  After the DRC closes, survivors can still view the status of their application
