Initial impacts expected to reach counties in Northeast Iowa early in the overnight hours, move into southeast Minnesota shortly thereafter, followed by far southwest Wisconsin. As the initial mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain shifts northeast through the early morning hours, the probability for freezing rain increases. At 330 PM CST, a broad and vigorous line of snow showers stretched from north of Arcadia to near Prairie du Chien, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph, visibilities reduced rapidly to around 1/2 mile in snow. SOURCE...Radar and observed. IMPACT...Rapidly reduced visibilities and slick roads.
