Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 3 at 10:41PM CST until March 3 at 10:45PM CST by NWS Dodge City KS

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail is still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for south central Kansas.

At 1040 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles east of Retrop to 5 miles north of Duke to 3 miles northwest of Goodlett, moving east at 35 mph. At 1038 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Custer City, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
