* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 9 to 11 feet and dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...West and north facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...Until 4 PM ChST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A large northerly swell has started to enter the region with altimetry and buoy data showing 9 to 11 foot seas across the far northern Marianas. A high risk of rip currents will be possible along east facing reefs on Thursday as the northerly and northeasterly swells

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and rough surf expected. * WHERE...Coastal Volusia, Coastal Indian River, Coastal Saint Lucie, Coastal Martin, Mainland Northern Brevard, Northern Brevard Barrier Islands, Mainland Southern Brevard and Southern Brevard Barrier Islands Counties. * WHEN...Through late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Additionally, rough surf can pull swimmers into deeper water and make them more susceptible to dangerous rip currents. This will also generate strong rip currents near piers, jetties, and reefs.
