The risk will be highest across the Capital Region, the Lake George and Saratoga region, as well as the mid Hudson Valley, Taconics and eastern Catskills. Any fires that develop in these areas could spread rapidly. Residents are encouraged to exercise caution if handling any potential ignition sources, such as machinery, cigarettes, or matches.
