Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The breakup front has jammed on the downstream side of Six Mile Island and is causing flooding in Ft. Yukon. Low lying areas including some roads and the boat launch are covered by water. - As of 3pm Tuesday water levels have started to drop indicating the jam is releasing. Upstream gages and reports do not indicate a significant surge

Snow returns to the Alaska Range, with snow levels falling to road level from Anderson to Cantwell tonight. Snow rates may be heavy at times with 3 to 5 inches of snow expected by Wednesday evening. Roads may become slick as snow will likely begin as mixed rain/snow before turning to wet snow as temps drop to around freezing. Travelers should use extra caution as they traverse the Alaska Range along the Parks Highway.

Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The breakup front has reached 15 miles downstream of Circle as of 1PM Monday. - The top of the ice run made it past Circle early this afternoon, with just light ice observed upstream. - The breakup front is expected to reach Ft. Yukon early Tuesday morning with the possibility of ice jamming occuring downstream, just above 6 mile island.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be possible. * WHERE...YUKON RIVER AT CIRCLE * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The Yukon River at Eagle broke up early Thursday morning. The breakup front that was stalled downstream of Eagle near the Tatonduk River has started moving again and as of Sunday afternoon was past the Charley River. The breakup front and associated 25 mile run of ice has been advancing without any jamming or overbank flooding as of this writing. With
