Snowfall will move across the Dalton Highway Corridor through the Brooks Range to Deadhorse and the Arctic Ocean this evening through Tuesday evening. Snowfall will come in waves with the heaviest snowfall likely overnight tonight. Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected along the Arctic Coast from Nuiqsut to Point Thompson. Accumulations of 3 to 7 inches are expected along the Dalton Highway south of Deadhorse to the Brooks Range. Snow accumulations generally increase closer to the Brooks Range. Roads may become slick and travelers should expect potential travel delays.

ESFAFG The Yukon River is open from Tanana to downstream of Mountain Village as of Thursday afternoon. Ice runs from upstream of Tanana continue as ice degrades between Beaver and Rampart and are being seen along many reaches of the Yukon. Water levels remain low and no flooding is anticipated. This is the last breakup condition report expected for the Yukon River from Tanana to Grayling unless anything of note occurs.

ESFAFG The Yukon River is open from Tanana to about 10 miles downstream of Mountain Village as of Thursday afternoon. Thermally degraded and lifted ice remains in the middle and south mouths and at Emmonak and Alakanuk. Ice runs from upstream of Tanana continue as ice degrades between Beaver and Rampart. Heavy ice runs are still being seen along many stretches of the Yukon. Water levels remain low, however if an ice jam forms at the breakup front, water levels could rise quickly behind it causing localized minor flooding. River Watch flights are done for the season.
