A front moving northwest from the Gulf of Alaska will bring significant snow accumulations from Delta Junction east to the Alcan Border on Thursday and Friday. Most areas can expect 4 to 7 inches of snow, with the heaviest snow accumulations along the Richardson Highway south of Delta Junction and along the Alaska Highway between Tok and Delta Junction. Areas north of the Alaska Highway corridor will see less snow. People traveling the Alaska and Richardson Highways south and east of Delta Junction should expect areas of low visibility and difficult travel conditions on Thursday and Friday.
