Merrill Field (PAMR/MRI) Runway 7/25 Construction Public Briefing

Major construction will be occurring at Merrill Field (PAMR/MRI) this summer. Runway 7/25 will be closed for major rehabilitation starting in June 2025 and will remain closed for approximately two months. Expect non-standard taxi procedures, adjusted flight  patterns , and traffic volume constraints. Please join us in person or online to learn more about flying in and out of Merrill Field this summer. Merrill Field Runway Safety Action Team Meeting

An Aviation Safety and Runway Safety Action Team meeting will convene April 12, 2019 to discuss  operations on the Merrill Airport (MRI) and surrounding area. The meeting will begin at 5:00 PM in the UAA Aviation Technology Building Conference Room.   Expect the meeting to last up to two hours. This year the meeting will include a variety of other safety related issues, topics, and concerns. There  will be time given for participants to bring up concerns and/or new ideas to improve our operation  within the Merrill Field airport area. Thank you for your help in improving aviation safety.
