FLIGHT ADVISORY – 2025 Presidential Inauguration, Washington, DC

FLIGHT ADVISORY National Special Security Event 2025 Presidential Inauguration Events Washington, D.C. At the request of the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will issue Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) for the Washington, D.C., area to provide appropriate security measures for the Presidential Election Events. The TFR will increase the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area Special Flight Rules Area (DC SFRA) and Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area Flight Restricted Zone (DC FRZ) restrictions for January 20, 2025. The FAA will publish increased security restrictions for the DC SFRA and DC FRZ airspace by NOTAM no later than January 15, 2025:

SUPER BOWL LIX FLIGHT ADVISORY – New Orleans, LA

FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION HEADQUARTERS WASHINGTON, DC SUPER BOWL LIX FLIGHT ADVISORY   At the request of the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Aviation Administration will establish airspace restrictions over Super Bowl LIX, to be played February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA. NOTAMs will be issued depicting 99.7 “Special Security Instruction” Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) to be implemented as follows: Under the authority granted by 49 U.S.C., the FAA may apply restrictions within airspace under its jurisdiction. Any person who knowingly and willingly violates these restrictions may be subject to certain criminal and/or civil penalties.
