Locally dense fog will impact portions of northern lower Michigan this morning, including sections of Interstate 75. Visibilities will be reduced down to or below one-quarter mile at times. Travelers may need extra time to reach their destination this morning. Slow down, and leave extra space between yourself and the vehicle in front of you.

Marie and Sugar Island. * WHERE...Central Chippewa and Western Chippewa Counties. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely be slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact commutes through Friday afternoon.
