Areas of rain, heavy at times, will continue into the evening across the Grand Traverse Bay area. Localized downpours will be possible. Showers and storms will be possible through the rest of the afternoon into the evening. The greatest potential for showers and storms favors areas along and west of I-75 and southeast toward Saginaw Bay. Given the anomalously humid air mass in place, some of these storms will produce downpours that could lead to rapidly changing visibilities for those traveling, along with a quick onset of wet to even ponded roadways.
