Grand Canyon Airport (GCN) Runway Closures – Update
Dates: (Phase 1A) June 15, 2025 – July 14, 2025: Pre-closure Work Location: Construction will occur at Taxiway A / B. Airfield Closures: Nightly closures of Runway 3-21 (expected to be 8pm – 6am). Effects on NAVAID's: The plan is to have the NAVAID's stay on at night during the entire duration of pre-closure work (but will be NOTAM’d out). Dates: (Phase 1) July 14, 2025 – August 10, 2025: Closure: Expect Runway 3-21 to be closed to all aircraft operations with lighted X’s on the runway ends (excluding helicopters operating from their respective ramps).
