Dry conditions will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 25 percent are expected. In addition a cold front is moving through the area this morning with south winds shifting to the north at 10 to 25 mph. * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, Kittson, Roseau, Lake Of The Woods, East Marshall and North Beltrami. * WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph Saturday and South 15 to 30 mph and gusts up to 40 mph on Sunday. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 23 percent on Saturday and 18 percent on Sunday. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Focus for worst fire weather conditions is on Sunday as this is the day with the lowest RH, strongest winds and highest temperatures.
