Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause additional minor flooding in the advisory area. - Significant low elevation snow still exists across eastern Pondera county and much of Liberty and Toole counties, which is likely to melt through

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of central Montana, including the following counties, Fergus and Judith Basin. * WHEN...Until 500 PM MST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 548 PM MST, emergency management and highway departments have reported snowmelt flooding in the advisory affecting some roads and areas of poor drainage. - Mild temperatures will lead to additional snowmelt, particularly across western portions of Fergus county and northeast portions of Judith Basin county where there is a lingering but diminishing low elevation snowpack.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1135 AM MST, emergency management and gauge reports noted snowmelt flooding in the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing and expected to continue as a significant amount of snow has yet to melt at elevations above 4500 feet in the Bears Paw Mountains.
